History

The breed is an old Hungarian hunting dog associated with Magyar sportsmen and likely descended from historic Hungarian hunting companions. Over centuries it developed from falconry and hunting use into a prized athletic gun dog and devoted family companion and later gained popularity in the United States.

Grooming
